Introduction
This page offers Win32 unoffiical installers for Mozilla Firebird and Mozilla Thunderbird. I modified the scripts from seb and create the installers with NSIS. The installers are further compressed with 7-Zip. As a result, the sizes of the installers are very small. On this page, you can download the installers for Mozilla Firebird and Thunderbird.
Features
Since these installers are based on seb's versions, they have similar features such as:
- User-friendly installer and uninstaller.
- For Mozilla Firebird, writes correct registry values to support Macromedia Shockwave, Macromedia Flash (screenshot), JRE v 1.4.2_01, RealOne Player and Windows Media Player 9 (as described in the Mozilla Firebird Plug-in FAQ).
- Adds shortcut for Profile Manager in Start Menu.
- You can type "MozillaFirebrd" and "thunderbird" to launch Mozilla Firebird and Mozilla Thunderbird from Start Menu -> Run.
In addition, these installers are compressed with 7-Zip to further reduce the size.
